Boost to Will & Grace

Madonna is to make her first guest appearance in a sitcom.

She will take a role in the US comedy Will & Grace in May, but exact details of her part are being kept under wraps.

Her appearance will coincide with the May sweeps, the weeks when the networks' ratings are used to set future advertising rates, according to showbiz website Jam!

Demi Moore and Minnie Driver will also make guest appearances in the show. Moore as Jack's former babysitter and Driver as a woman who romances Karen's ex-husband.
