A sound move

Mitch Benn releases album

Mitch Benn has released a new studio album.

The comic has recorded 14 new songs for the CD Radio Face, which comes with a 16-page lyric booklet.

Many tracks were originally written for his regular appearances on Radio's The Now Show and Radio 2's It's Been A Bad Week.

The album will soon be available in shops, thanks to a distribution deal with comedy record label Laughing Stock.

In the meantime, Benn will be selling the disc at his gigs, and it is available by post at £11.99 see the official website for details.

Meanwhile, Benn is also making a pilot for his own Radio 4 show, Mitch Benn's Crimes Against Music, which will also feature Robin Ince.

Tickets to the recording, at central London's Drill Hall on June 17, are available from the BBC website.
