Herring pens a 'male Vagina Monologues'

Richard Herring is writing a male answer to the Vagina Monologues called Talking Cock.

The comic and playwright will be taking the show, about penises and men's attitude to them, to the Edinburgh fringe.

And he has launched an appeal on an internet chat board for men to write poems about their penises to include in the show.

He is also looking for people with 'interesting tales about their tails'.

Writing on the Not BBC Comedy Forum, Herring said: "I want to find ways to get men expressing themselves about that thing which is so dear to them and which they rarely talk about in a factual or honest sense."
