And the losers are...

Comedy 'Naftas' awarded

Baddiel and Skinner Unplanned has been voted the worst comedy programme in a Bafta backlash poll.

The show topped the ballot for Virgin Radio's Naftas, awarded the day after the British academy awards.

It beat off competition from The Mr Hell Show, a cartoon featuring the voice of Bob Monkhouse, the Channel 5 quizBring Me The Head Of Light Entertainment, and, bizarrely, ITV's The Premiership.

In possibly the most tightly-contested category, for worst sitcom, Davina McCall's Sam's Game saw off Mr Charity, Johnny Vaughan's Orrible and the
Only Fools and Horses Christmas Special.

Comic Jim Davidson was named worst TV talent for The Generation Game, which has shed millions of viewers under his stewardship.

Virgin's breakfast DJ Daryl Denham said: "We thought it was time to raise the profile of the UK's worst TV programmes. People are bored with the backslapping antics of the television industry."
