Oh my God, they killed Kenny!

...for good this time

South Park's Kenny has been killed for good.

He died in 80 episodes of the animated show - only to return unscathed the next week.

But creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker got so fed up with finding inventive ways to brutally slay the anorak-wearing character that they decided to bump him off permanently.

They had him die a slow, painful death from a muscular disease at the end of the last season - and he hasn't returned.

Stone said: "I think a lot of people probably haven't noticed. I couldn't care less. I am so sick of that character.

"Kenny was always a kind of prop anyway. He couldn't say anything so it is really hard to develop a character who could never really talk."

His previous deaths included having his head bitten off by Ozzy Osbourne and being beaten by a spastic monkey high on sugar.

Kenny has been replaced by a goody two-shoes called Butty.
