Alan Davies is to play some secret gigs in London.

The Jonathan Creek star is to perform five gigs in a tiny pub theatre to get himself back into the habit of live stand-up.

He'll be taking over from Boothby Graffoe in a double bill with Michael Smiley's The Parting Glass as The Old Red Lion in Islington, north London.

Davies will be appearing from February 5 to 9, and a ticket covering both performances costs £12.50.
