Kevin Hayes's Edinburgh show The Devil's Drop is being made into a Radio 4 show.

The comedy lecture on the history of alcohol will be broadcast on Christmas Day.

He first performed the well-researched show, demonstrating how public perceptions of booze have changed over the centuries, at The Stand comedy club during this year's fringe.

The radio version us being recorded at the BBC Radio Theatre in Broadcasting House, central London, on Tuesday (November 27).
