The BBC has filmed a special all-comedian edition of The Weakest Link.

Comics subjected to Anne Robinson's stern questions were Ed Byrne, Rhona Cameron, Barry Cryer, Dave Gorman, Helen Lederer Rowland Rivron, Johnny Vegas, Nina Wadia, and Arabella Weir.

The show was taped this weekend, and is expected to go out in the autumn.

However, the icy Robinson was said to be less than impressed by some of the backchat from the comics.

"Anne doesn't like a dose of her own medicine," one show insider said.

Previous celebrity editions of the show have featured the likes of Mel and Sue, Vanessa Feltz and members of the EastEnders cast.
