Dropped C4 show back in schedules

The Brass Eye special dropped from Channel 4's schedules last week will now be shown on July 26.

Chris Morris fans were outraged when the new show was pulled at the last minute.

At the time Channel 4 said the show was not ready in time and promised to included it later in the run of repeats.

But it was also reported that the show, also known as Trombone, was dropped because it covered paedophilia and the timing was insensitive. (story)

Morris is believed to have hoodwinked celebrities such as Gary Lineker, as well as some of Fleet Street's most experienced journalists, into joining the hysterical media reaction to the subject.
