Royle Family star hosts chat show

Royle Family star Ralf Little is to become a chat show host.

The actor, who plays dogsbody Anthony in the hit comedy, will present BBC Choice's comedy and gossip show Up Late for two weeks next month.

He'll be following in the footsteps of stand-up comic Gina Yashere, the current host, and Mel and Sue, who will present it for the week starting July 17.

The topical show is recorded on the night of transmission, Monday to Thursday, with a highlights show on Friday.
