Hunt for best buskers and comics

Comedians, street performers and speciality acts are being invited to enter a couple of competitions for the London Comedy Festival.

Next month's event includes two talent contests - The Spam Award, for London's funniest street performer, and the Hackney Empire All-Star Talent Quest.

First prize in the Hackney competition, open to comics and comedy variety acts, includes a slot on the festival finale at the London Palladium.
