Human Remains honoured

Dark BBC2 comedy Human Remains has won a prestigious international award.

The mockusoap, created by Rob Brydon and Julia Davies, won the comedy category at the international TV festival held in the town of Banff, in the Canadian Rockies.

The show, made by Steve Coogan's production company Baby Cow, was chosen over The Royle Family and Dylan Moran's Channel 4 sitcom Black Books.

Fraiser actor Kelsey Grammer picked up the special Sir Peter Ustinov award, which honours a comedian's body of work.

And The Sopranos was named best continuing series for the second year running.
