Free Phil Nichol track

From Nearly Gay & The Naked Racist

Another Christmas present for Chortle readers today – a free track from Phil Nichol’s new album.

Released on the Laughing Stock label, the CD and download features two of the Canadian’s acclaimed Edinburgh shows: 2005’s Nearly Gay and 2006’s The Naked Racist, which won him the Edinburgh Comedy Award.

Our free track is the six-minute stand-up routine Meet The Parents from Nearly Gay, about him meeting his girlfriend’s Irish mum and dad – which turned out to be an outrageous encounter.

The track is embedded below, or right-click here to download to your hard drive.

Click here to read Chortle’s review of the DVD version of this show – and click here to buy the shows from iTunes, priced £9.99.

And if you missed it, earlier in the week we gave away a Nick Helm track, too.
