Hmm.... I'm not sure that being in the business precludes leaving valid comments here. I like Barry Dodds' shows and if he says that Vince is worth seeing I'd tend to want to give the guy a go. Why would he boost a pptential competitor at the risk of his own credibility? Anyway, he's on Fri 17 Oct in Manchester so people can give him a try if their not at other venues (or the Manchester Lit Fest)!

There are only two genuine comments on this page mate, the rest are from people within the entertainment business! Unfortunately Vince, it is the paying public that need convincing & after seeing your schedule I guess that is not happening. You ain't no Dave Spikey, Johnny Vegas or Peter Kay & even if you were, we've been there done that & worn the T shirt. You are funny, for five minutes, then it's like watching Channel M after a skinful & a kebab - background.

How this guy got City Life comedian of the year, I do not know maybe its because City Life magazine has not excisted for over 2 years and the winners used to be voted for by the readers, and the quality of previous winners was second too none Peter Kay, John Bishop etc etc... Vince's act is something akin too Sesame street, full of facial expressions and gurns and impressions. His act was like reading the Sunday sSport - funny for five seconds and the rest a load of crap. He should stick too being a compere, then at least he won't overun the audience with more than 5 mins of dire stuff. As cancer, nuff said

Having seen him at the Buxton Buzz last night, I thought he was amazing. I haven't laughed that much for a long time. Definitely a must see for 2007...

Excellent. Such a natural at talking to the crowd and the material has been bang on everytime I have seen him. One to watch.

I saw Vince last sunday opening the Gong Show at the Dickens Inn in Middlesbrough and I have to say I was astounded by how quickly he was able to build up a rapport with the audience. The way in which he delivered his material was excellent and I laughed hard throughout. Great stuff.

Vince is really starting to come in to his own, talking about the things that matter to him - and others in a thought provoking, intelligent and more importantly funny way. Its been a pleasure to watch him develop over the last year. Dave Bishop 30.11.05

Having laughed with Vince a few times at Manchester's Frog & Bucket he is going from strengh to strengh, each time the same set is improved with extra gags. Last night 31st October I had stomach ache with laughter. Mike Molloy 01.11.05
