I'm doomed... Poor Vince Atta! In fairness it was a bad night trying new material & I was a bit of a dick to someone who was being a bit of a dick. Anyway I'm off to do a well paid gig - sorry, obscurity

Vince Atta, December 2011

After a painful set of anecdotes nobody can relate to, followed by a string of unfunny, lollystick puns, Vince Atta attempted audience participation which descended into witless insults. He bombed, and then he melted down. Not even his wildly embellished CV can save him from obscurity.

Astralbee, November 2011

Extremely likeable, charming and effervescent Vince Atta defies you not to have a fantastic night. And you do. Then he catches you unawares with a bullet worth catching. Don't miss this show.... you may not be able to afford to see him soon.

Derry, August 2009

Hmm.... I'm not sure that being in the business precludes leaving valid comments here. I like Barry Dodds' shows and if he says that Vince is worth seeing I'd tend to want to give the guy a go. Why would he boost a pptential competitor at the risk of his own credibility? Anyway, he's on Fri 17 Oct in Manchester so people can give him a try if their not at other venues (or the Manchester Lit Fest)!

Ben, September 2008

There are only two genuine comments on this page mate, the rest are from people within the entertainment business! Unfortunately Vince, it is the paying public that need convincing & after seeing your schedule I guess that is not happening. You ain't no Dave Spikey, Johnny Vegas or Peter Kay & even if you were, we've been there done that & worn the T shirt. You are funny, for five minutes, then it's like watching Channel M after a skinful & a kebab - background.

amy lee, December 2007

How this guy got City Life comedian of the year, I do not know maybe its because City Life magazine has not excisted for over 2 years and the winners used to be voted for by the readers, and the quality of previous winners was second too none Peter Kay, John Bishop etc etc... Vince's act is something akin too Sesame street, full of facial expressions and gurns and impressions. His act was like reading the Sunday sSport - funny for five seconds and the rest a load of crap. He should stick too being a compere, then at least he won't overun the audience with more than 5 mins of dire stuff. As cancer, nuff said

ger cha, July 2007

Having seen him at the Buxton Buzz last night, I thought he was amazing. I haven't laughed that much for a long time. Definitely a must see for 2007...

Anne Beardmore, January 2007

Excellent. Such a natural at talking to the crowd and the material has been bang on everytime I have seen him. One to watch.

Barry Dodds, July 2006
