New Zealand born Trygve Wakenshaw studied clowning with Philippe Gaulier in Paris for two years from 2008. His first solo show Squidboy won him named best performance at the Auckland Fringe 2013; his second, Kraken, was nominated for the Barry Award at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
