Since winning the Chortle student comedy award in 2007, Deacon has become a circuit regular and a regular presenter on BBC Radio 1.

Original Review:

With slick stagecraft, bags of energy and some decent material to back it up with, he has quickly crafted a short set that wouldn’t look out of place on a professional bill.

He can expect a good reaction from most audiences, given his crowd-pleasing combination of talents, including material that goes below the belt without being tasteless, plus a rap delivered by an Australian with little to gripe about. Assured stuff all round.
