Original Review:Tom Wrigglesworth is a softly endearing comic, defined by some stylish one-liners and an easy ability to riff with the audience.
His persona lies somewhere between Daniel Kitson and John Shuttleworth; sharing the accent of the former and the benign, modest aspirations of the latter. He has a strong self-deprecating streak, and his material is drawn from everyday domesticity.
Yet this cosy persona also comes with a keen eye for the absurd that yields a stack of inventive, original observations that provide a rock-solid foundation for his set.
The whimsical, folksy songs he also performs don’t share the gag rate of his stand-up, but they are delightfully charming in their own right.

Unoriginal, obvious, old-fashioned, non-edgy, pretty dull, not well presented. Would not recommend to standup fans at all
Seems like a really nice guy, and a great Radio 7 presenter, but his stand-up is just so incredibly boring and badly delivered.
I would pay not to see this deeply boring unfunny man who telegraphs every line of turgid cliches
Tom at Eden Court Theatre Inverness - all the media hype about how good he was, didn't materialise on the June 6. If he has an aptitude for comedy he failed miserably. If he had hecklers to contend with, then he could have an excuse. He seemed to falter from the start, only himself to blame, and struggle to produce material to make his audience laugh. Everybody has off days this was certainly one of them, unfortunately!
Saw Tom supporting Rhod Gilbert at Nottingham Playhouse on Sunday evening. Third time we've seen him and he just gets better.
I am a fan for life having read your exploits on train. Brilliant!
Saw him at Hereford (7 sept). You laugh at the look of ths guy. He clearly dresses to look a nerd!. I was floored with his opening comment about his looks being Peter Crouch crossed with Postman Pat. Well done.
