I paid ten quid to see him at the Soho Teatre and had we not been sitting far from the door I'd have left. His middle class shit and obvious desire to be a musician left me wretching. There's obviously a big Eddie Izzard thing going on with him too. "Forget it, he's good, you're shit" It was the part when he started to play the bongos that really got me, I just couldn't help but wonder if he learnt them in Goa on the trip that Daddy paid for in the gap year. Scotty, October 2004 |
Lots of original and very funny material, this is a must see - plus the most impressive bongo performance you'll ever see! This guy has loads of energy and you'll leave feeling very glad you went, I was in stitches the whole time. Vicky, August 2004 |
I saw him at the Hen and Chickens and thought he was brilliant. The jokes were spot-on and the songs were hilarious Razza, August 2004 |

Absolutely superb. This man has true funny bones. I saw lots of shows in Edinburgh last week and his stood out as by far the best. He is a great performer and his clever jokes, facial contortions and hysterical songs kept me laughing all the way through. A welcome change to the dirth of straight-laced standups with their predictable Bush jokes. Sarah, August 2004 |
He speaks like Scooby Doo, does the same material over and over, and is utterly unable to deal with hecklers. Having said that, some of his material (first time round at least) raised a chortle. LK, February 2004 |
I saw him a few months ago at the Backyard and thought he was excellent. However I've been unfortunate enough to see him again twice since then, and his act was identical, virtually word for word. He was also completely unable to deal with the audience. Frankly anyone can get up on stage and recite lines, and if this is all he can do, then he's not a comedian. Adam J, February 2004 |
Terrible and unfunny. Alex, January 2004 |
I found his arrogance a little annoying. He tends to declare everything 'ridiculous' without actually giving a reason. He is quick and energetic - and quite funny. But I feel he needs to be less aware of his strong points and work on the weaker sides of his act. Hamish, July 2003 |
