I don't understand why he isn't bigger than Peter Kay. This guy should be playing stadiums and bringing out DVDs. He's blinking brilliant. Super Dude 18.02.05

Very funny guy, his 20 minute set turned into a 35 minute one, had the crows in fits of laughter from the first line Gareth Ormskirk 12.02.05

Just a quick note, if you want to see what I am like there's a link to the webpage above, there's me at the Comedy Store making them laugh. The one at Chester was a weird gig, half the room were laughing, the other half I couldn't get a peep out of em, even when invited to heckle. I didn't stink, as you said, as I had people shaking my hand after saying "you were funny but some of em just didn't get it." I put on there that I do live in a big house I am just being honest; I'm not trying to be a political firebrand or change the world or anything, I have already had people saying "How can you talk about (subject X) when you drive a big car?" That's the level of bitchiness that you have to deal with just for wanting to have a laugh, cos that's all it is. A laugh. Yes I do get nervous and it does show sometimes, so if anyone has any techniques for dealing with that drop me a line. Constructive comments always welcome. Roland Gent 09.04.05

I'm great me, I'd book me for a gig if I were you. Roland Gent 09.11.04

Roland Gent is one of the best acts to come out of Manchester for a long time. The fact that it's taken so long long for his talent to be turned into headliner status is a mystery to me and many others. That aggressive stage persona is just that, a persona. Likeable, confident and bookable Boston Baby 04.11.04
