Yeah, and I bet you are fucking perfect in everything you do, eh, \"Jimmy\"?\r\n\r\nHey, why don't you let me know the next time you are cleaning out the dustbins and I'll \"critique\" your performance too?\r\n\r\n\"The way you spilt all that litter on the floor was so so shit\"\r\n\r\nBasically, \"Jimmy\", you are everything that is wrong with our society.\r\n\r\nYou hide between the cloak of anonymity while savaging others. You big, big man. What courage you show.\r\n\r\nAs I say, you, and those like you, are everything that is wrong with our society. Because you stifle creativity. You stifle experimentation. People are afraid to try stuff out. In case, people like you write out, for posterity, 'so so shit' Maybe, I am 'so so shit', but at least I've put my arse on the line. Everytime I've stood on stage. I have taken a massive risk. And sometimes it has paid off. And other times it hasn't. At which point, you get people like you jumping on the case. I might be 'so so shit'. But you offer absolutely nothing other than bile and spite, so rather than focusing on my limitations, if I was you, I would focus instead on your limitations. But no, I guess that would be too painful for you. Phil Klein, March 2007 |

We went to see Amos in August at the Red Lion Soho, and he was sooooo hilarious!! We were in tears with his self-depreciating jokes and the audience participation was brilliant. Helen 03.11.05 This is a good review and I concur with most of the points. He seems high energy but before long you realise the jokes are just not that funny. My own personal experience was that he had some problem with heckling, taking it too seriously and not joking along. Some girls behind me laughed when he left saying that he was 'so bad'. Perhaps that's a little harsh but he needs to work on his act. Davy James 17.08.05 A review that is very honest. I'm sure people only book him because they get spots at his clubs. A Brown 01.06.05 A genuine guy who runs some good nights of comedy and gives everyone a chance to gig there. Don't rule him out as a future pro, especially if you are not a comic yourself. Matt Price 23.05.05 Saw this guy in London - although he's not the most natural comic, his material is clever and amusing. His most amazing talent, however, is to give new comedians a chance to air their material in his comedy club - I truly appreciate that. Davey 22.05.05 Helen, November 2005 |
