I don't know why this man is not huge. He's certainly funnier and far more sharper than his more famous contemporaries. Saw him at the Glee in Birmingham where he had to follow Jack Dee and he wiped the floor with everyone. Absolutely hilarious and edgy stuff. His routine about the marriage feast of Cana is worth the price of admission alone. Wonderful stuff

Roe Strickland, November 2011

Unwittingly bought tickets to see this guy at the Hay-on-Wye festival and was frankly bored and offended by his gut wrenchingly unfunny, long stories. Absolute rubbish.

Megan, May 2008

I went to see him as the headliner at the Comedy Store and was quite frankly bored. His long, cliched, drawn out stories and well-trodden "likeable Irishman" demeanour may be good for chuckle but quickly grows tiresome. There is no edge, nothing to surprise you. Its all so predictable and safe.

Tom L, August 2005

I saw this man last night and what this review fails to mention is his outstanding physical comedy. His impressions of his 98 year old grandfather are worth the cost of a ticket alone.

Zara, May 2005

Simply fantastic

Treena B, May 2005

Excellent stand up, warm, funny and likeable. Fantastic storyteller

Crag Smith, March 2005

Words are not enough to describe this awesome act, he is incredible.

Patrick Rolink, February 2004

Irish angst, humour and poetry that in turn splits the sides then tightens the throat - pure magic

Alwyn Burberry, February 2004
