Very experienced and professional comedian, and probably one of the braver ones I've seen, Nick Wilty works hard with his material even if his East End persona is a tad too conventional. I have seen him be funny on-stage, but also die on his arse. That said, he handled that like a pro and returned to the my club a few months later where he was funny once again! Good on you!

Saw Nick last night at the Backyard Comedy Club in London, and have to say, what an excellent act. A brilliant performer, very funny, had an answer to every heckle and kept the whole audience in stitches

Time waits for no one and Nick has become a sad bitter unfunny old man. A waste of space much better given to new younger talent. Time to retire.

Excellent- v. funny

When he walked up to compere a Bill Bailey show in some Anderson Shelter Theme Park (Underbelly) I thought 'who the hell is this?'. About twenty minutes later the whole audience was howling in laughter - completely stole the show and won everyone over as a convert to the Wilty wit. Quite traditional gags but brilliant delivery - smart, self deprecating and warmly charasmatic. Really bloody funny too.

Very funny and definitely a must see. He is a natural performer, great with hecklers
