Comedian Marc Lucero has written an unofficial England World Cup song.

More than 5,000 fans have downloaded the track Getting Up For England in the three days it has been available online.

It was recorded by his band Itchy Knee, and is available free from his website.

Lucero said: "We are dedicated to making the iffy football song a thing of last
century."

The band are playing Soho's Big Night Out comedy club on Friday to officially launch the single, as part of the London Comedy Festival.
