New podcast for Rachel Parris and Marcus Brigstocke

Reviewing their everyday lives

Rachel Parris and Marcus Brigstocke are launching a new podcast in which the married comics review pretty much anything that's happened to them.

How Was It For You? has its roots in Tuesday Night Club, the weekly online shows they made with the Always Be Comedy club during lockdown.

Speaking to the venue's podcast, Parris said: 'We are finally getting our act together. It's something we've been meaning to do since Tuesday Night Club... with [that] we were sort of doing the format for a podcast all through lockdown. So we had a lot of practice of hosting for two years. So we’ve said, "We really should do a podcast".

'We finally spoke to someone who said they would help us do it because we're not technological enough to do ourselves.

'It's a review show, but we review stuff in our lives and in the world. So, we're not going to review the TV show Gladiators, but we will review watching Gladiators with three generations in the family, trying to explain it to a teenager and trying to explain it to your elderly husband, in my case.

'Marcus told me off for calling it three generations. It was me, him and his daughter.'

The show will be available on all podcast platforms, with Audible hosting a 'coming soon' trailer since last month.
