Lateef is an enthusiatic showman and one whose joy for stand-up is always a crowd pleaser, to say the least. Lesser talents can often create a "blow back" vibe that can alienate rather than endear a room, but Lateef's enthusiasm is both innate and expansive, sure to fill the biggest show rooms.

I hate Chortle's reviews. In your scurrilous reviews, you have little positive to say about new people - presumably you have some vested interest in the well-worn comedians. Perhaps you think that by adopting a tabloid hack approach is in some way clever or engaging? Even reading between the lines of your review of Lateef, there sounded like at least some interesting ideas. It's got to the stage that I don't take any notice of your contemptible little reviews from your Hitler-esque reviewer any more - because when I see or hear the people you slate I often find that you had served them an injustice. I suspect your reviewer(s) only jealous that he doesn't have the balls to get up there and give it a try - OR has already done stand-up and is venting his anger on new people who've already achieved more success than him. Try and be positive and fair. It doesn't cost anything to you personally. Bet you won't publish this because I'm right.
