Saw her at Enterprise and in my humble opinion she's at that weird stage where she could turn into anything from yet another Nice Person doing bit parts for Carla Lane or a fully-fledged full-throttle comic maniac of Jo Brand proportions. Here's hoping...
Saw her in a small venue with what could be said was a difficult 'local' crowd. Handled heckling with style and strength. Totally enjoyed her set, which did have a polished quailty. One can only assume after reading the comments here that shehas spent much time and effort fine tunning and improving her set in recent monthes. Would definitely go to see her again.
I'm sorry to say it, but she is dull. I only hope that she has a good agent who can get her out of stand up as soon as possible. Even as a compere she is unable to hold a room. To say that she OK is very generous. R.Smith 31.05.05
I remember seeing Liz do a couple of spots two years or so ago, back when my life was good. Her amiable presence attracted the audience effortlessly, and left them very receptive to some good lines. Gary Brooks 18.02.05
