Kevin Shevlin at the 2009 So You Think You're Funny Final |
Dry-as-dust Kevin Shevlin has his miserable take on being socially awkward, especially when it comes to women, and pondering the inevitability of death. He’s self-deprecating about his own dearth of energy, but this newbie could put a little more life into it, to save his set sounding so drearily dull. There is a decent proportion of winningly obtuse punchlines in the set, even if he does little to exploit them. |

I've seen this man twice - he's the James Dean of comedy. Quiet and thoughtful but magnificently talented. He will go far. Rachael Littlejohn, June 2010 |

I have seen Kevin many times and his writing is excellent. I really enjoy watching him. Looking forward to seeing him develop over the coming years in to a top class act. Andrew Ryan, October 2009 |
