This cocky Londoner, and up-and-coming actress, knows how to hold an audience's attention, with a well-honed delivery that ensures her material always gets the best response.
Much of that material stems from a love of the English language, its use and abuse providing a prime source of material - from an inventive and funny routine about 'gravity-defying cream' to more pedestrian material about fun-sized chocolate bars, that you're bound to have heard before.
She's generally creative in her writing, even if it's hard to nail down her somewhat bland persona. Audiences tend to remember the comics more than their material, and although Godliman certainly knows how to serve up a comic observation, she struggles to leave that all-important lingering impression.
But the best of her lively set suggests she has at least some measure of what it will take to become a success.
