Parsons lands R4 show

Lost Blog sitcom to air this year

Andy Parsons is to star in his own six-part sitcom on Radio 4.

The stand-up, who has previously worked with Henry Naylor on Radio 2, will also write the series, called The Lost Blog Of Scrooby Trevithic.

The show will be made by Open Mike – the production company run by Parsons’ agent Addison Cresswell – and will air later this year, Broadcast magazine reports.

Open Mike will also be making another six-part series of Jeff Green’s Green Guide To Life for Radio 2.
