Rosie Jones to 'run' the London Marathon
Ivo Graham is to run this month’s London Marathon – while pushing Rosie Jones in a buggy.
They are among several comics taking part in the event raising money for charity – in their case Up: The Adult Cerebral Palsy Movement, and Multiple Sclerosis Society.
On their fundraising page, the pair stated: ‘Ivo is going to run pushing a chair, and Rosie is going to sit in that chair and shout at Ivo with a megaphone if he slows down too much.
‘They are going to do this for 26.2 miles and they are going to have the time of their lives, and they are going to raise as much money as they can for two charities which are very important to them. Please donate what you can!’
Romesh Ranganathan will be running for Calm, the Campaign Against Living Miserably. He said: ‘If you told me a couple years ago that I’d be running a marathon, I’d have told you to fuck right off – but Calm’s work is so important that I’m going to break a lifelong promise to myself’.

Joel Dommett is also taking part – in the The Masked Singer winning costume Piranha.
He said: ‘I am running to raise awareness and money for an incredible charity that I am proudly a patron of – Shooting Star Children’s Hospice. Please give what you can – and if you can’t give anything, then come down, see the costume with a sweaty hidden man inside and cheer me on!’
Phil Dunster, who played Jamie Tartt in Apple TV comedy Ted Lasso, will be taking on his first London Marathon for Young Lives vs Cancer.
He has a personal association with the charity for its help when his cousin's son, Rory, was diagnosed with a brain tumour aged just four months old. When he died, they were on hand to offer guidance and emotional support.
Dunster said: ‘I’m equal parts excited and terrified that I’ll be running the London Marathon this year. I want to raise as much as I can to help Young Lives vs Cancer social workers be there for more children like Rory and their parents.’
His fundraising page is here.
Dan Hudson of the podcast A Gay and A Non-Gay is running for Marie Curie (fundraising page), while stand-up Esther Manito is running for World Animal Protection (fundraising page)
