Didn't think he was funny at all. I was quite embarrassed for him as his jokes were of a very poor standard and he only generally received nervous laughs from the audience

I saw about five minutes of Ian Stone last Friday. He was performing, if you can call it that, at a charity dinner in memory of a friend of mine who died of cardiomyopathy. I was enjoying his (exceptionally short) act, until he stormed off stage with the hump, as a few people were talking amongst themselves and had their backs to him. The whole audience was in agreement that as a professional comedian, he should be able to handle that situation. It's not as if he was even being heckled, it just bruised his obviously delicate ego that he wasn't the focal point of a handful of people.

Saw Ian last night in Wellington, NZ. He really shone out as a comedy great. His self depreciating style was great (very English) and his views on politics and religion were really insightful. It made a real change laughing so hard!

Have seen Ian Stone twice now. Ran out of fluid I cried with laughter so much. I can see he's not everyone's taste, however, I don't like the stereotypical Jewish comedians either.

Incredibly talented. Somebody should give him a show on TV. Reminded a bunch of expats why we still love being British. Like a breath of fresh air.
