If Lennie Bruce, Woody Allen and Alexei Sayle had taken heed of the 'offensive' tag, they'd've gotten a job in accountancy. Ian's not a Nazi, he's a damn fine comic with the bile and the style to delve into those areas most of us shy away from. Whaadayawant, 'Terry and June' reruns?

I saw Ian, who incidently was in my year at school on Monday at the Tattershall Casle in London, had me and my party in stitches, all I can say to those who found his jokes offensive, is maybe stand-up cComedy not a medium for you as laughing at different cultures and oneself the norm.

I saw Ian Stone at Jongleurs in Camden. He was thoroughly offensive making jokes about rape and Muslim people. Not my idea of intelligent humour...and who cares if he has a big nose? He must have spent a quarter of his routine talking about it.

Saw him last night at the Chuckle Club. Very funny and topical. Gets big laughs from subjects you shouldn't really be laughing at

I saw him recently in a small venue in Hampstead where he was doing a preview of his Edinburgh show. While it is true he did make fun of other groups he certainly upset this Jew personally. He was clearly insensitive to what might be offensive to his own. Surprisingly despite the fact that it was a Edinburgh preview he appeared to be just doing a normal stand-up ie largely unscripted and responding to those in the audience. May I suggest that someone can do that for 20 minutes - but for an hour! ulgar brand of narrow-minded criticism borders on nazism; how dare he insult whole cultures like he has the right as a comedian to shit on others. He is a repulsive, tallentless creep

Hilarious. He has the balance completely right between making at times almost offensive jokes (but insightful and daring) and being yet subtle enough about them.

I saw him in Covent Garden on 10-03-06. He was absolutely brilliant. The best of the night by far. Yes he's not scared to throw out a cheap pun, but there's nothing wrong with that... and his topical and gender stuff is first class. Above all, however, he looks, and is, very, very funny!

Saw Ian at Komedia in Brighton the other night. I think he was making the most of the fact that the religious intolerence bill was thrown out of Parliament recently. Could be offensive to some, but people need to realize the context of what he's saying. He's telling jokes, he's not a bigot (Despite opening the night by pointing out his obviously semitic features and saying "Any Muzzies in 'ere tonight?"). Got me laughing for 20 minutes
