Depends on what you're wanting from a comedy gig. If it's mind-numbingly trite observational stuff about smoking pot, the difference between men and women, and saying the word 'fuck' to get laughs - just go to most comedy shows on the circuit. It's your loss. Harry Hill is the only act offering pure childish and old fashioned slapstick humour, and all the better for it.

When I first saw him, I thought, "Rip-off of early Vic Reeves". My opinion hasn't changed. Absolute shite.

Graeme, January 2005

Harry is top class. The audience with Harry Hill show was one of the funniest things I've seen. top man.

Ace Rimmer, January 2005

Couldn't stand Harry's old stand up, the majority of which consisted of mindless humming with the odd wisecrack. However, for those who watch a lot of TV, the TV Burp is very amusing and his recent 'Audience With..' was excellent... no more hmmmmmmmmmmming and far more actual comedy. Usually I detest slapstick but Harry mixes it so well with with that even I can enjoy it.

Charlie Thomson, January 2005

Why does nobody get it? He's not funny, never has been, never will be. End. T

he voice of reason, December 2004

Saw him a few times in the mid-Nineties at the Hampstead Comedy Club and other places and have been a huge fan ever since. He just has a wonderful knack of making you giggle uncontrollably apparently effortlessly. Harry's got a bit of everything: observational humour, visual, one-liner, musical, satirical, word play, surreal, cheesy. And all with immaculate timing at a slow-slow-quick-quick-slow tempo. Close to perfection.

Tim Probert, November 2004

I was lucky enough to see Harry regularly back in 92/93 in small venues. Truly stunning. Then he sold out to TV (can't blame him I guess) and it all went to pot. Haven't seen a small live set for a long time... I hope he's still doing all the original material which cracked me up no matter how many times I'd heard it.

Gwyn Carwardine, November 2004

Harry Hill started off great live, not as good on radio, worse on television, and has ended up on TV Burp which is absolute shite. How are the mighty fallen.
