Biography

Double act Electric Forecast - aka Dan Wright & Steve Marsh - started performing stand-up in 2001, when they reached the final of the City Life competition. They performed at the 2003 Edinburgh Festival and can still occasionally be seen on the circuit, but have more recently found a place on TV - where they are probably best known as Big Cook, Little Cook on children's BBC.

Other work includes presenting Big Brother’s Big Mouth on E4, starring in Crash Test Dummies on Sky 1 and presenting Celebrities Uncensored for Five - all in 2007.

Dan also presented Fuck Off I’m Ginger for BBC Three, also in 2007.

I think the ginger guy is brilliant. In fact they're both brilliant. Better than all these other comedians who just try and emulate Daniel Kitson and fail. These two will be big.

Fiona Bilton, November 2003

I thought that the ginger one was like a bad golfer, substituting timing with brute force. He tries to hit the ball too hard, whereas Ste was by far the funnier. He is subtle and timed to perfection.

Nicholas Court, November 2003

They are absolutely rubbish. Arrogant and unfunny. Waste of time.

Bananaman, October 2003

Truly appalling. Irritatting, self satisfied and immature.

Jack Sandler, August 2003

Opened at The Comedy Vibe in Great Yarmouth last night and set an incredible pace for the other acts to follow. A great double act that had me rolling off the bar

Fox Tucker, July 2003
