Thought he was refreshing and brilliant. Off the cuff and quick witted, love him

I saw him compere Downstairs At The King's Head in London and I thought his stuff with the crowd was good too. Very little material just 'witty repartee'
Steve Kirk - 13/08/2005
Seen him last night at a free show in Edinburgh. Fantastic! Probably the funniest person I've seen this year at the Fringe. Very little actual material - All the humour to do with the crowd.

I'm a fan of character comedy acts. Consistently good ones can be scarce, but Dominic is definately one of them. I've seen him quite a few times now and he was brilliant and versatile on all occasions.

Friday Night. Comedy Cafe. Not bad. Not bad at all. A little patchy, but also excellent in places.
Danny Mitchell - 28/05/2005
I've been going to Just The Tonic for several years now and Morris The Morris Dancer is as funny as it gets. He only did a short encore, even though he could have had several more if he wanted, and the so-called headliner, couldn't follow him.
Crouch End Fiona - 14/03/2005
Saw him MC at The King's Head the other day. Thought he was very funny. Very good with the crowd.
Will and Charlotte - 14/01/2005
Morris The Morris Dancer came to Truro last night and absolutely stormed he place. We've been going to Bar 200 for a couple of years now and we've never seen anything like it. Hilarious, unPC and brilliant. Come back soon.
Sacha - 27/11/2004
Dominic is funny - larging in up on satge like a monkey - you'll need surgery on your sides
Terry - 06/11/2004
Saw him as compere at Bracknell. He was dire manically quizzing the audience but not following up on any of the opportunities their answers created for humour. We cringed with embarrasment for him - surely the worst compere I have ever seen
Tom - 27/10/2004
Calm and unfussy and very, very funny. I love the storytelling
Gideon - 16/10/2004
Always developing, telling new stories - cut above the other comedians every time.
BX - 15/10/2004
I happen to think his newer stuff, his "confessional" style act all about himself, was very good indeed. And the characters are pure Ronnie Barker stuff. A bit out of fashion? Screw fashion.
Andy Pank - 15/10/2004
Phenomenal.
James Cook - 15/10/2004
Absolutely stormed The Comedy Kav last night, not once, not twice but THRICE. First doing an 'open spot' as Ludwig the Bavaraian and then again in his main set as Maurice the Morris Dancer and then again as himself telling the Fulham story.
Ru Green - 15/10/2004
Hilarious as Morris the Morris dancer, cried laughing at Ludwig the Bavarian and then enjoyed Dominic as himself.
Adam Franklin - 21/09/2004
Dominic Frisby is one of the most versitile and proffesional comedians on the circuit, whether as Morris the Morris Dancer or Ludwig or the Upper Class Rapper, or doing his own stand up. Very funny man and a true pro.
Ade - 04/09/2004
Very funny indeed.

I was there. July 17th. Hyena Comedy Cafe. Newcastle. A painful death. Then on Saturday I was in Leicester Jongleurs on a stag. And oh my heart dropped when I saw he was the first act on. And guess what? He was brilliant. I'm not joking. Absolutely hilarious. And some of it was the same material that was so unbearable in Newcastle. So what does that prove?
Punter - 31/07/2004
Dire, at best. Awful, just awful. Really good attempt but needs more material, new stuff please, Dominic. Lisa Frandn 11.07.04
Toni Osborn - 10/07/2004
Not funny at all. Died an agonising death. Needs to learn how to deal with hecklers and not get into an argument with them. Only got sympathy applause because of heckler - sure rest of audience were thinking the same thing, just too polite to say it.
Simon Brighty - 05/07/2004
His character Ludwig the Bavarian is pure shite.
- 20/05/2004
I saw him at Jongleurs in Oxford, dealt really well with hecklers and was by far the highlight of the evening.
Clive Clark - 29/03/2004
Saw him at Komedia in Brighton on the weekend and we thought he was by FAR the funniest on an excellent bill. Seen him many times before doing Upper Class Rapper and Morris Dancer and the Oompah Austrian and other stuff, but this time he wasn't doing a character and it was totally original.
Gavin Micheally - 01/02/2004
Saw him in London and thought it was awful, old jokes, obvious stereotypes. Let's see something new Dominic, you have been doing the same material for six years now.
Dan Glover - 18/01/2004
Bloody funny, but then, I was drunk.
Epsom - 10/11/2003
As Morris the Morris dancer he's utterly hilarious as we saw at Brighton in February, but I squirmed with embarrassment for him at Edinburgh with his Truth or Bullshit show when even a polite and friendly audience struggled to find anything to laugh at.
Vincent Chiew - 03/11/2003
R.I.P. Dominic, our condolences to his friends and family as he died a slow and tragic death Up the Creek Greenwich.
Rock Kazbar - 21/10/2003
Ludwig was a joy. Just simple and silly, We had a treat in seeing Frisby as himself and got the Upper-Class Rapper too. I dont know many comedians so versatile.
