Dave is my resident MC, great guy! Gets the audience in the right mood. Very cheeky young man Tim Whiteley, February 2007 |
Watched him compering at The Hyena Cafe. Had me in tears laughing, brilliant. Bob, February 2007 |
Opened a gig for me very well indeed. A cheeky, likeable comedian, with some great anecdotes Ian Smith, July 2006 |
I have seen Dave go from open spot status to headline/strong support status in just over a year. The improvement is incredible in such a short space of time. Very comfortable on stage in any room. I personally love the way he performs his material on stage, occasionally dipping into the audience, getting a huge laugh then slipping back into his material. I would have agreed with Chortle's review 18 months ago & there were similarities with Johnny Vegas, but its Dave's personallity that you see on stage now. David, March 2006 |

Bullshit, review. Another case of "He's Northern therefore he isn't funny and worst of all not challenging or inventive or artistic." Keep going 20man I love you Danny Degan 10.12.04 Danny Degan |

Another Chortle review that isn't worth the binary code it's written in. Saw Dave on stage last night sandwiched between Des Sharples and Gavin Webster. He didn't look out of place for a minute. Rob Riley 20.11.04 Rob Riley |

I accept being called crap but I've never ever told a heckler to "shut up Mum", except for once when it actually was me Mum. Dave Twentyman 09.11.04 My notes taken at the gig say otherwise Steve Bennett, Chortle 09.11.04 Dave Twentyman |
