I saw Dave MC a gig in Leics this week. He got a great response from everyone in the room and was both funny and charming. James M, May 2013 |
Thanks Vicky. I've had a 'career' in comedy for 9 years now. I DON'T do sportmans dinners ever, nor do I do any dodgy gigs in Liverpool. Unless you consider Rawhide, Baby Blue & Laughterhouse dodgy. 20man, April 2011 |
Seems like a really nice, friendly guy but there is no material here at all. I imagine he can get away with it in the north where a bit of friendly banter can go a long way but I just do not think he could ever have career in comedy that could ever go beyond sportsmans dinners and dodgy gigs in Liverpool. I hope I am wrong though and that he can write something decent. Vicky, April 2011 |

Gotta say, we think Dave is ace. He always remembers us & takes time to have a catch up off stage. On stage he gets us giggling & gives us good old belly laughs too. He handles hecklers brilliantly with his one liner put downs. An all round good chap with natural wit & charm. Its a shame we haven't seen you for a while though, get doing gigs up North again mate Gaynor (the crip) & Pete, September 2010 |

Dave is excellent a very funny man indeedy. Hayley, August 2010 |
Thanks Zack, I'm not having a go, you're just telling the truth. I did really struggled at the Stockton Festival. In my defence, I couldn't hear myself speak because the music from the main stage was so loud. Seeing young children in is very off putting. I felt incredibly detached from the audience who had just watched Rob Rouse do 30 minutes of great material with no interval between me and him. I just felt too much was against me. You can only judge me on what you see though. So from your perspective, I can't disagree. All I can say is, come & watch me at a proper gig. All best mate. 20man, August 2010 |
Three times in five years I've seen him. He died in stockton tonight , material just isn't THAT funny. He's OK, but needs a lot of work to get to next level. Genuine nice guy so keep at it matey zack, August 2010 |

Dave is a funny guy indeed. And one of a few who is as competent performing a set as he is compering. And a pretty nice guy as well. Jay Ryan, August 2007 |
