A big hearted showman, who's unfairly underrated and deserving of more exposure. He conveys both colour and character without resorting to the base stereotypes of others and brings a great deal of intelligence to his targets without resorting to pretension. The textbook definition of a class act!

Saw Dougie recently in Bedford, and he had the audience in non stop stitches for a solid half hour. A great act, with more laughs per minute than almost anyone else I've seen.

I saw Dougie at Bedford a few weeks ago, and I don't think I've ever seen anyone get such a high laughs per minute ratio. He did about half an hour and kept everyone laughing pretty much throughout. Great material performed with a really tight delivery.
