I also attended a so-called Comedy show on Friday February 27 at Streatham Odean and was greatly disappointed to be so short changed.For £16 I received the vocals of a male so so singer who a member of the audience said was a local bus driver,then lovers rock singer Paulette Tajah and for part two the comedy which consisted of only one comedian who was good but no way was he good enough to provide the whole of the comedy for the entire event. Curtis Walker was advertised as being one of the comedians taking part along with Mr Cee which was not the case. Instead Donna tried to fob the crowd of with outdated DVDs and Obama posters, PLEASE! This was nothing more than a con. It was a total let down to me and a large number of the people sitting in the same area of myself who could not believe when she announced that the show was over after one comedy act!

I'm really grateful to have found a forum to make a comment. Saw Donna Spence at a comedy night in Feb'09 for an event laughingly touted as a comedy night. It promised 3 comedians and only one turned up. Curtis walker's picture was featured all over the flyers yet he did not appear. I personally felt conned and let down, surely its common sense to confirm an act before putting their picture on any publicity. The show was spent with Donna Spence trying to fill in the gaps with banal banter with the on stage DJ. It was unfunny in the extreme and embarrassing. I decided to cut my loss at the start of the second half it was too dire to bear. Given only one comedian showed for the comedy show she really should have postponed the event or offered a refund. The night was a total disappointment.

this review is very personal in my eyes and in a lot of peoples eye who know donna spence very well. as a comic, i know donna has been targeted in a way that shows that the reviewer had something in for her. from the begining to the end of the review, there is so much nasty and personal comments towards her in which obviously has nothing to do with her comedy. ow some review is done so well for some comics and some not so well, i know but the public, will never know. I'm not suprised.

This review needs updating because the Donna I performed with is sharp confident, and very funny. She has her own style of comedy and even has her own comedy fans who appreciate her comedy. It is metioned that she is big in weight but it has not been mentioned that she is also big in her comedy
