As a semi regular compere at Ribbed in Crewe, Chris never fails to blow everyone away and does something new evrytime. A real pro and bloody funny too.

First saw Chris perform a few years ago and have been an ardent fan ever since. Loves his audience and really makes them work. Can't wait for the next opportunity to cower before his booming voice. Go see this guy.
Nicola Dane, April 2005
One of the best 'open' spots around. Shows great promise.
Jo Carter, February 2005
I wasn't expecting much as he was a bit down the running order but there wasn't really much to see. He tried to shore it up by shouting at the audience but I think most of us just wanted jokes. He didn't have any. I'd never heard of him before this night so I guess he might be new. He looked well but no-one was laughing, but if he had some gags it could all be different. I really hope he writes some as he could do quite well if he did.
Gavin Mee, January 2005
Saw Chris earlier this year and thought he was great. Seems to have gotten his act together perfectly and great interaction with audience... and hecklers
Al, December 2004
A funny guy and thoroughly entertaining.
Wayne Williams, November 2003
Absolute pish. Totally unlikeable onstage and tries to beat the audience into submission by shouting at them. No material, just bravado.

Eight years on the circuit and still no material to show for it seemingly. Current topical highlights include a reworking of Ed Byrnes ten-yearold "Ironic" routine. Eight years? Are you writing from the comfort of 2009? Chris Brooker 03.01.05
