Christina performed at a charity comedy night in aid of Harlington Hospice. Her set stood out among the comedy of the evening and she gained a lot of laughs and support from a quite difficult crowd! I found her relaxed and funny with a clear link between her jokes and one liners that held her performance together. As a hospice we appreciated that Christina asked if we minded her doing jokes in relation to terminal illness and this sincerity came out in other areas of her performance. She was likeable and very funny, a class act. Carla Maresca (Community Fundraising Co-ordinator), March 2007 |

Christina was electric at the Funny Women finals. Her set was original and intelligent, with great comic timing and an energetic delivery. She clearly stood out from the other comediennes JT, October 2006 |

Christina is so often the reason to go to a comedy show. Her intelligent and ORIGINAL material is delivered expertly. My only thought is that, were the genders of Lee and Christina swapped would such a comparison be made? Aaaaaahhh? No not ahhhh! Ahhhhhhhhhhhh! Ben, September 2006 |

I want the moon on a stick ;) Christina Martin, July 2006 |

I think this review is a little misleading. Christina is hardly a Stewart Lee tribute act. Of all the funny women finalists she stood out the most as something different and has a very intelligent, well written and completely original set which went down very well with the audience. I saw Christina's Funny Women set and I'm a big fan of Stewart Lee. I found them relatively different to be honest. I thought she was very funny and original. It seems odd to compare a 5ft 1 woman to a 6ft bloke. Sam, July 2006 |
