I was one of the lucky thousands who saw this guy rocking the Latitude festival last wkend. He's funny as fuck, as dangerous as Basra and hotter than Bombay. It's a ludicrous shame that Chortle has such an inaccurately average review for some one who is such a hugely original talent. This guy's going to go stellar.

REPLY TO BELOW: Sean, you're right mate. It was a shocking gig and you're right to report it. However, to be fair to myself, I was perfroming in stadium-lighted 800 capacity room to 90 people exspansively seated on seperate circular tables, in tuxedos and ball gowns, for a posh boys' school dinner and dance fundraiser. I 'performed' on the dance floor inbetween the raffle and the auction (Oh, yes. stand up: glamour, glamour, glamour.) to a non comedy crowd of a single social demagraphic as they were all finishing a three course meal... After me there was a covers band. I nearly walked off the job before I went on. I should never have been booked. Next year perhaps a smaller room and a safer act or a singer or hypnotist eh..? Sorry for the cock up Sean. I should have researched the gig better to give myself the opportunity to refuse it and save us both of the humility of having to watch it and perform it. My apologies. It still hurts which it wouldn't if I wasn't professionally conscientious.

Saw Cole last night "attempt" to be funny at a gala ball in Coventry. He died on his arse from the moment he walked on stage, couldn't buy a laugh if his life depended on it, and just ended up alienating the entire audience by his constant referrals to the fact that he was dying on stage being down to their lack of humour!. Left the stage quickly after a few of the admittedly more intellectually challenged members of the audience started to get aggressive. It wasn't the best place for comedy (hall in the Rioch arena) but to a decent comedian the location shouldn't matter one jot - you're either funny or you're not. Cole, unfortuantely, wasn't.

Last night, two friends and I witnessed this guy play a free gig in Fleet, Hants. He was the only 'pro' on the bill, going on last into a loud and chatty room. During his set, the police raided the venue to arrest a man in the front row who hadn't followed the venues' dress code and refused to leave. Also, two separate people hijacked the microphone, one to tell a poor joke, the other to try and organise a protest for the guy being thrown out. Not only did Cole Survive this debacle, he single-handedly turned it into the funniest fucking thing we've ever seen! He announced the police arrival like they were going on stage too! He called to them: "Thank god you've arrived, there's a man here peacefully enjoying himself, quick, get him." After advising the departing suspect to "Mind the stairs", he told jokes and stories about current events with completely relevance to what had just happened in the venue. He got everyone, including the persistant talkers, to shut up and piss them selves, rapt. Defusing the whole thing beautifully and finishing with the entire room in stitches. This man is a genius It was the best comedy we've ever seen and it didn't cost a penny! I would travel to see this guy again.

The best comedian I have ever seen bar none.

Funny as fuck!

Parker has evolved from a competent also-ran into one of the funniest and most pin-point accurate comedy social commentators in the UK. His lively persona and platinum material blew us all away in Tunbridge Wells last night. One of the top three sets we've ever had here in the seven years we've been running, When/if he manages to abandon a couple of his older 'comfort-blanket' lines, he'll be in the nation's top ten... or maybe even five.

First rate! Thought provoking and extemely funny. Better than any headlining comic that we've ever seen on TV or live.
