Seen him twice in Exeter, both times absolutely ace, doesn't get much better

Brilliant outsiders viewpoint on the British way of life, hilarious

Instantly likeable. I spent most of the time listening to him with a big smile on my face but he very rarely made me laugh out loud. Easy, laid back humour but not the kind that would see anyone rolling about in the aisles.

Craig Campbell is a lanky Canadian whose stage presence is that of a sort of bemused Gandalf lookalike in a foreign land. Although his set is mainly about the differences between Brits and Canadians, he doesn't just stick to the usual topics. Instead he wanders off on grand tangents only returning occasionally for a swig of water and a bit of audience interaction. Did especially well to put up with an audience some of whom seemed more interested in their own conversations.

Both my partner and agree that he is the best comedian we have ever seen, both live and on TV. I have never left so hard in my life

I saw Craig perform last night in Cambridge, and he was absolutely hilarious :O) Definately one of the best comedians I have seen this year

I saw Craig Campbell at the late show at Edinburgh's The Stand - he was really good and seemed to be getting a good reception from the crowd (certainly better than the later acts) but at the end of his set he seemed really pissed off and was mean about the audience. It really soured what was one of the best bits of stand-up that I'd seen at the festival Saw Craig Campbell at Late and Live at the Edinburgh Festival in 2005. What a pathetic bully this man is. Someone drunk heckling him resulted in a ten minute tide of undeserved raw abuse, devoid of all jokes and boring for the audience. (He called someone whose only crime was sitting next to this guy a 'fat chick' in front of hundreds of people). When others told him to leave off he called another woman a fat chick too and invaded the audience threateningly once someone else threw a plastic glass at him. And he hadn't even been funny prior to the incident. A complete bonehead and so unprofessional it is a wonder he gets any gigs. Karen 16.08.05

One of the funniest guys I've come across in comedy and I'd put this weekends set at Jesters in Bristol in the top 5 i've seen! Brilliant.
