I have been very impressed by the topical nature of his comedy. So many others just rehash the same old routine but Dempsey is always original always up to date, truly this ability to regularly create humour should be the real gauge for comedic genius. B Conway, December 2005 |
Such a relaxed style that he takes you along with him effortlessly. I have seen a lot of his stuff and it is always different and never disappointing Scott, July 2005 |
Truly appalling, Dempsey looks as though a key on his back has been wound up and he has been pushed unwillingly onto stage. Staring into the middle distance he spouts off tenth rate material that is not even done justice by his boringly mechanical delivery. I saw him in One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest recently. Playing a mute quite suited him. Shame they got him speaking though. Helen Worth, December 2004 |

A lovely style, a funny man, and one of the finest exponents of improv on the planet. With Small Medium Large or the Comedy Improv, simply a delight to watch. Too bloody tall though. Silky, October 2004 |
Very funny guy with a dry sense of humour, for some reason made funnier because of the accent Andy, September 2004 |
