All style and precious little substance. He wins you over 'cause he's such a dude - it's only later you realise you can't remember a single quip. But when you're there you get so carried away it doesn't matter!
Saw Brendan last night for a special Liverpool comedy festival at Radio Merseyside, he went down really well and the audience loved him. Seen him loads over the years hes brill
A really good act which has some of the best audience interaction around.
Sorry, don't agree with the rave reviews. Saw him in galway last week and his act was too predictable compared to the MC Neil Delamere who easily stole the show. Probably ok for students but if you couldn't get shocked by his jokes there was not enough there for me.
Legend. Enough said
Brendan Riley is brilliant - he's "scouse humour" BUT avoids the usual cliches of "Ey mate, you local? Wirral? Then FUCK OFF". Intelligent scouse humour if you will. If he's on the bill then you know you're up for a good night
