Bob Kobe – Original Review

As a deliberately crass, unlikeable American character, Kobe needs to have strong gags to overcome the audience's suspicions. But he doesn't.

Kicking off with a lightbulb gag is always a worrying start, and it does indeed prove indicative of the act to come.

Cutting-edge observations include the opinion that George W Bush 'is an asshole' and it rains a lot in Manchester. Not exactly exciting.

He tries to flam up the atmosphere with some 'Go USA'-type hollering, but this newcomer only really succeeds in annoying,
