Benny Hill is a fantastic comedian. I've a compilation of twenty-three of his comic songs and they are all very amusing indeed. His humour, however, is meant to be what some uppity fans call unPC, but it was never that controversial. Those who claim they like it simply because it is politcially incorrect are deluding themselves. They should like it because it is funny

I grew up watching the Benny Hill Show as a teen living in Queens, New York in the mid 1980's and besides going wild for the sexy women on the show I laughed myself to tears. He is and always will be an inseperable part of my youth.T hank you Benny for the memories. R.I.P.

Back in the days before there were 1,000 channels Benny was a breath of fresh air. He was often on late, and on the oddball channel, at least in Cincinnati. I fell in love with his offbeat comedy style. He was and is a king in the comedy world to me. It's funny that now I have all these channels he's still the best thing on; I guess it's hard to beat perfection. The PC world we live in can learn something from Benny, learn to laugh at yourself. Life's way too short to take things so serious like they do. I'll be a Benny fan until the day I join him on the other side.

Benny was certainly one of a kind. As a teen I would watch with my father and we would both wait anxiously for the show to begin to see the silly skits and tempting, teasing women. It made me laugh and ogle then and it still does! I still ofter make his supprised face and pretend to slap heads when I'm in that silly mood...Long live his legacy as one of the best comedians ever.

Benny Hill was undoubtably one of Britain's most talented comedians, perhaps even arguably the best so far. Although his comedy was unique it wasn't this that put him at the top but the fact that he managed to spread his comedy to virtually all corners of the globe. Only a very few have been able to do this such as Chaplin, Laurel & Hardy etc. He surely was a comedy great and certainly doesn't get the accolade that he deserves.

Benny was tthe absolute greatest entertainer i have ever known. I spent several years in the US Army in Germany and found on German TVthis great individual. Such a bizarre life yet such a human to touch so many people. His was a gift to remember forever. Say what you may but talent is a gift deemed priceless.

God bless you Benny. I pitty anyone who watches you on a television and not laugh. All of us in Britain will never forget you and all of us feel a great sadness now that you are gone. But, we should not worry, as we will meet in the afterlife. Until then Benny, we still remember you.

It's brilliant to read the nice comments from India, Russia, old and young, etc. Typically I think the people who agreed with the media initially were lemon-suckers anyway, and then it became trendy to knock him. I've told "naughty" jokes to people who have looked down their nose at me, only to hear them telling the joke to others later. People need to lighten up.
