The funniest man I've seen in a very long time. Saw him at the Piano Rooms, Lutterworth. Songs, crying in laughter funny. Booked tickets to see him the next day

I saw Antony at the Barstormers Comedy Night at Leighton Buzzard with Kevin Precious as MC. Anthony had me in tears of laughter on several occasions. I would definitely see him again. Musical gags and great timing and very dark sense of humour. Very funny.

I saw Anthony King at the week end, what a great delivery of some unique comic subjects brilliant.

I don't normally respond to these but please tell me which gig you're referring to.

Really bad. No one laughed the entire time. It was really awkward. More like a social experiment. No recommended.
Matt Brooks - 04/09/2009
Saw him at Jaggers in Bournemouth last weekend and was blown away to be honest. Intelligent, twisted in all the right ways and just stone-cold hilarious. Best routine i've seen in a long while which is no faint praise i'd like to think. Absolute killer one-liners were just part of the appeal. Highly recommended. Will be looking to see him again whenever poss.

Saw him headline at the Leicester Comedy Festival on the 11th, he was superb! So much good new material, and so much detail in his jokes! Go see him! He gets better every time!

Terrible, saw him at Hyena in Newcastle 24/1/09. Truly shockingly bad. The audience weren't even heckling, just waiting in boredom for him to leave. Avoid!

Anthony King was on top form this weekend at the Comedy Cafe. His quirky persona, fabulous one-liners and expert delivery kept the audience laughing for every minute of his act.
Gordon Kent - 04/03/2008
Cerebral and sly. His left-field, dead-pan delivery, while requiring thought, was much appreciated by the audience.

We saw Anthony King @ Jongleurs and we thought he was absolutely brilliant! He certainly had me crying that's for sure. I really like the way he delivers his gags its awesome. I said to my wife, when we get home I've got to find out who this guy is so we can go & see him again & rest assured we will do! Well worth going to see.

I don't agree with some of the comments about Anthony King but I suppose you cant please everybody! We saw him @ jongleurs in Nottingham & we all thought he was fantastic! Looking forward to seeing his performance again. I think the way he delivers his gags isn't as fast as some comics but it bloody well worked for us. He had us crying.

Saw him at The Cresset, Peterborough, on May 25. The worst act I have ever seen. Very unfunny material poorly delivered. Punchlines from which other comedians would move swiftly on to the next gag, he spends another 30 seconds expanding on as if the audience didn't get the joke.

Was the opening act at the Lescar last Thursday. Started brightly, faded in the middle, and just about rescued it at the end. Some of his material was top notch, especially the cleverly ridiculous one liners (watch out for the eye-watering one about the zips!), but the banter with the crowd disappointed. That said, half of that was the crowd's fault as they simply didn't get his often surreal interpretation of life, but King's refusal to adapt his delivery and some uncomfortable, overlong pauses while he waited for a laugh that was never going to come saw him die on stage for ten minutes. He just about saved face with a few sharp one liners at the end. Would have been fantastic if it weren't for the ten minutes in the middle.
Lee Brace - 30/05/2005
Superb! I\'m envious of his timing. So much control over an audience it\'s unreal. Go see him. Lee Brace 30.05.05
Virginia Wheeler - 10/05/2005
Truly brilliant. Brought a touch of class and comedic elegance to a night of otherwise laddish and humdrum acts. Genius one-liners had the audience in tears of laughter. King offers something different and made our evening. Virginia Wheeler 10.05.05
Zoe Jones - 02/05/2005
I found him hilarious - deadpan, self depricating and he dealt with a firefighter in the funniest put down I have ever heard Zoe Jones 02.05.05
Keith Withers - 28/04/2005
Some genuinely excellent one-liners and he dealt with a ridiculous heckler very nicely indeed Keith Withers 28.04.05
Ed Daggett - 22/04/2005
He was the best bit of an excellent lin-eup in a superb Edinburgh venue. Unmissable. Ed Daggett 22.04.05
Nelson - 30/03/2005
Not bad, but nowhere near as good as his wet fish stage persona suggests he thinks he is. Nelson 30.03.05
Phat Phil Mansfield - 27/03/2005
I think that Anthony has a very polished act. His delivery is witty and material is fresh and unique. I understand that his dead pan style may not be everyones cup of tea, but I have enjoyed the show on the numerous occasions I have seen him Phat Phil Mansfield 27.03.05

Appalling. Smug, insincere, unfunny, dull. And I\'m being generous. Get a different job Mr King Steve Hanson 19.02.05
Greg Sutton - 15/02/2005
Looked as bored as his audience. And that took some doing. Greg Sutton 15.02.05
