Enjoyed Andy's August performance at Bar XS where he came in at very short notice to fill in for a "no-show". A fair bit of what he did was of a physical and/or "gurning" nature and was very funny for all that. Even with a smaller than usual audience, which seemed more muted than usual, he managed to tickle a many funny bones. When one is encountering a few who are winging it or on automatic pilot, it is encouraging to see a young comic who clearly puts significant effort into devising and performing his set. Great stuff.

Puts a lot of people to shame with his commitment and warming up before EVERY gig. The material won't change the world - he never strays into politics or dark topics. It's just unrelenting gags and set pieces. The energy he puts into his work stands out a mile and really raises the bar. Good work

Chris Judge, August 2007

A great and original performer, a rising star! And he'll fix your glasses too! I left his show with a tremendous sense of value

Candyapples, September 2006

I saw Andy last night in Ipswich and he was absolutely fantastic! In a line-up where the audience only outnumbered the comics by 4 to 1, he had us all eating out of his hand and was ten times funnier than the headline act.

HC, April 2006

I gigged with Andy tonight and he was great. His new 20 mins was great fun and the crowd loved it. His dealing with hecklers won him many rounds of applause and he dealt with it like a pro. I know how hard he works at his writing and its really paying off. One to watch in my opinion.

Barry Dodds, March 2006

Seen Andy's new set twice now, laughed so hard both time. Really gets into his characters and has so much energy on stage. Best act there both times.

Barnaby Cook, March 2006

A likeable character, but the material he performed at the Comedy Store's New Stuff gig tonight fell flat and failed to get much of a response from the audience. I'm surprised he won the City Life award as there were many far stronger acts in there.

Dave, March 2006

A real good laugh, full of energy. Vinny 04.11.05
